Aunty Nicollette is a Registered Dance/movement Therapist, Creative Arts therapist, Creative Director, Dance/movement Teacher and Choreographer. She is a recent graduate of the University of the West Indies in Barbados with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance and Film as her 1st degree; and of Pratt Institute with a Masters in Science in Creative Arts Therapy as her 2nd degree. Multitalented and multifarious, Nicollette started her arts journey from the age of 3 years, dancing with Dance Strides Barbados; Of Another Nature, Dancin Africa, The Barbados Dance Theatre and many more dance companies and schools. She has performed at The National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA) as a soloist and in groups. Her goal is to bring creative arts therapy in its unique form of therapeutic movement interventions into schools, children groups, hospitals and nursing homes and also in the Caribbean. She has traveled around the Caribbean region of Trinidad, Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti and more representing herself, and her country in the arts. She explores her talent for people to see the true gem and light and passion she has for the arts. She believes that the best is all that can be done, once belief, faith and passion is within you!
